FAMILY PACKAGE
Register 2 players and any additional immediate family players are free.
The league will provide each player with a jersey, pair of baseball socks and a baseball hat. Players are responsible for providing their own baseball pants, glove/mitt and batting helmet (NOCSAE Approved). Please note that All Pinto Division Players (7/8 yrs. old) are required to use a helmet with protective mask/guard.
Practices start in April, and games are played through June. An average of 2 games and/or practices played per week on weeknights and Saturday's. The day of the week that games and practices are played on weeknights will vary from week to week. Weeknight games/practices generally start around 5:45pm and older divisions may play 8pm games as well. Saturday game/practice times vary week to week, and generally are scheduled between 10am and 5pm (older divisions may start earlier and also participate in Saturday Night games).
While the majority of our players reside in Woodridge, we do accept players from surrounding communities.

Woodridge, IL is conveniently located in the Darien/Downers Grove Area, 2 miles North of the I-355 and I-55 interchange. Once exiting off I-355 our fields are within a 3 minute drive.

The WAA Board of Director is looking to fill the following Travel positions for 2027 and 2028 Season. Board positions are 2 year terms. Elections will be help May 1st, 2026 and selected canidates will shadow current Board member until October and then take over the positions.

Director of Travel
- The Director of Travel reports directly to WAA, is a WAA Board member and is required to attend all regularly scheduled WAA Board Meetings to report current activities of the WTB program.

- The Director of Travel responsibilities are as follows:
- The Director chairs any special meetings requested by at least three Travel Managers for issues related to WTB.
- The Director of Travel delegates as needed to the member Travel Managers all assigned responsibilities for the following season.
- Administers the overall operation of the WTB.
- Functions as the official representative for the WTB at all activities and/or events.
- Oversees the development of the WTB to include Travel Team Player Development and Training.
- Ensure Woodridge Park District and/or WAA completed background checks are completed for all Travel Managers and Coaches.
- Enforces all aspects of the WTB program and WAA program.
- Responsible for the initiation and execution of disciplinary measures taken by the WTB and/or WAA programs.Interprets both written and verbal complaints and concerns of all participants and their families involved in the WTB and completes a fact finding mission relative to any potential disciplinary action required by the WTB program.
- Works with the Travel Treasurer to ensure that all Travel fee’s are paid and funds allocated properly.
- Prepares general announcements for the community at large as well as local media to include local newspapers, web-sites and local TV channels. Provides to WAA written general announcements to be included in the minutes of the WAA Board Meetings
- Obtains all Certificates of Insurance documents for Travel Teams Tournament participation
- Prepares and collects all Parents Annual Surveys and distributes to Travel Board accordingly
Travel Treasurer
- The position of the Travel Treasurer will be elected for a two (2) year term by a simple majority of the current WAA Board and is a WAA Board member and is required to attend all regularly scheduled WAA Board Meetings to report current activities of the WTB program.

- The Travel Treasurer responsibilities are as follows:
- Provides to the Director of Travel a monthly financial statement for each Travel Team as well as the WTB general account. Will provide to WAA Treasure upon request.
- Acts as the official financial representative for the WTB program.
- Oversees all Travel Team treasuries
- Conducts an annual audit to be completed for all financial activities of the WTB and the Travel Teams
- Approves all Travel Team budgets for the season annually and submits these budgets to the Director of Travel

What does it involve?
Meetings
Meetings are held once a month on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at the Woodridge Park District Community Center. They are scheduled for the evenings, and usually last about an hour and a half.
Leadership
Board members are assigned with various responsibilities, and are matched with their area of interest or skill. No experience necessary!
A Love of the Game & Our Kids
Come and share your ideas and experiences to help keep Woodridge on the cutting edge of youth baseball! No Experience Necessary to Volunteer, just a desire to better our program and enrich our kids.
Becoming a Board Member is NOT a huge lift and should not be detrimental to your daily/weekly schedules. It's a great place to make deeper connections with other community members with like interests.

Pickup time is between 9am-11am for all Divisions
Managers if you are unable to pickup on this day, please have one of your Assistant Coaches make the pickup. If that is not possible, please contact your Division's Commissioner before the pickup.
The Woodridge Park District will be hosting their yearly Field Training on Saturday, April 18th @ 8:30 AM. The training will be at Orchard Fields (8501 N. Janes Ave.) and is MANDATORY for any Mangers or Assistants who intend to drive the SandPro to drag the fields at Orchard or Janes this season. Training will be about 30 minutes. The Park District will log all who attend the training.
Weather permitting the Park District will also review how to use Turface and Quick Dry to repair a wet infield.

As your team's schedule changes on our website, your calendar program will re-sync and keep everything updated on your Personal Calendar (please note it may take 24 hours for the sync to occur depending on your calendar program --- Google Calendar generally syncs every 12-24 hours on externally linked calendars).
To link to your team's schedule, simply login to our website and on your My Home Page under your My Players Section select the Link/Export Team Schedules link. Never logged in to our website, if so then click here for more info on what you are missing as well as new user login information.

Everyone who is registered this season (Parents, Managers, Coaches, etc.),
has access to the "login protected" side of the website. To access, a family had to provide an email address on their registration form. If an email was supplied, you can go to our
Login page and click on the link
Retrieve User Name & Password. If an email wasn't provided to us, you can still follow the links on the login page for help in getting your email added to our system. You do not need to login to view team schedules, stats or basic roster information.
Depending on your pre-determined security access level (Parent, Manager, Commissioner, etc.), you will have varying levels of access to protected areas of the website. After logging in, one can expect to see more detailed and customized information for their players and assigned teams. For instance, you will be able to view more detailed roster information for your team, view and request changes to your family information and
if you have more than one player registered with us, you will be able to view Combined Schedules for multiple players! Managers, can view detailed roster information, request open timeslots and request changes to roster information.
